Épouse bien-aimée de feu Guy Vaillancourt.

Mère aimante de Sylvie Vaillancourt (Julie) et de Francine Vaillancourt. Grand-mère chérie de Maurice Labelle Jr. (Katie Magee), Rachelle Labelle-March (Marty), Sabrina Lalonde-Vaillancourt et Fannie Lalonde-Vaillancourt. Fière arrière-grand-mère de Chloée, Mathieu, Zeke, Enaïs et Beau, et arrière-arrière-grand-mère de Maeve. Chère sœur d’Odette Séguin, de Gaëtan Séguin (Margot) et de Marcel Séguin. Elle manquera terriblement à ses nombreuses nièces, neveux, à sa famille élargie et à ses amis.

Elle a été précédée par ses parents Albini et Blanche (née Séguin) Séguin, sa sœur Georgette Brazeau (feu Viateur) et son frère Gilles Séguin (feu Marie-Jeanne).

Conformément aux souhaits d’Yvonne, la crémation a eu lieu et un service commémoratif privé sera organisé à une date ultérieure. L’organisation des funérailles a été confiée au salon funéraire Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall, succursale Est (613-933-2841).

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Yvonne Vaillancourt at Southbridge Cornwall on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at the age of 96 years.

Beloved wife of the late Guy Vaillancourt.

Loving mother of Sylvie Vaillancourt (Julie) and Francine Vaillancourt. Cherished grandmother of Maurice Labelle Jr. (Katie Magee), Rachelle Labelle-March (Marty), Sabrina Lalonde-Vaillancourt and Fannie Lalonde-Vaillancourt. Proud great-grandmother of Chloée, Mathieu, Zeke, Enaïs and Beau and great-great-grandmother of Maeve. Dear sister of Odette Séguin, Gaëtan Séguin (Margot) and Marcel Séguin. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Albini and Blanche (née Séguin) Séguin, her sister Georgette Brazeau (late Viateur) and her brother Gilles Séguin (late Marie-Jeanne).

As per Yvonne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch (613-933-2841).
