

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of nearly 45 years, James McGregor; sons, Bob (Michele) Avery, Michael (Scott Finley) Avery, and Mark (Liz) McGregor; daughter, Melissa (Dooney) McGregor; Stepdaughter Kelly (Tom) Larson; and Stepson Shawn Benton; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers, Terry (Ruth) Boling, Michael (Linda) Boling, and Jerry (Rene) Boling; sister, Denise (Gary) Herlitz; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Beulah Mae Boling.
Brenda had a deep love for her children and grandchildren, and her family was her greatest joy. She found comfort and entertainment in watching her favorite shows, including *The Voice*, *Blue Bloods*, and *Gunsmoke.* A fan of country music, she especially adored artists like Reba McEntire and Conway Twitty. Brenda graduated from Crown Point High School in 1966, and she proudly shared that she went to school with astronaut, Jerry Ross.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made directly to the family or to VNA Hospice.
A visitation to honor Brenda will be held Monday, February 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307.
