Caleb was a kind-hearted, joyful, and deeply thoughtful young man who brought light to everyone around him. Known for his silly sense of humor and his sweet, caring nature, he consistently put others before himself, embodying quiet strength and compassion in everything he did.
A proud fan of the Buckeyes, Caleb was equally proud of his time working in the automation department at Universal Studios Florida and in electrical maintenance at the steel mill. He approached life with dedication and a deep love for his family, friends, and those close to him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Barbara Strom, and John McKinney.
Caleb is survived by his loving parents, Tim and Lisa McKinney; his brothers, Gunnar and Jared McKinney; his sisters, Karly and Hope McKinney; and his grandmother, Catherine (Tom) Bitler. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Emily Jones; uncles, Peter (Cindy) McKinney and Nathan (Rebekah) Strom; aunt, Heidi (Jerry) Brewer; and his cousins, Joshua, Jordan, Hannah, Zachary, Andrew, Chase, and Autumn; along with countless loving friends whose lives he touched.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Caleb's honor may be made to cancer research.
He will be remembered always for his warmth, generosity, and the joy he brought into every room.
