He spent his childhood running through forests and spending time fishing and hunting in the great outdoors. During his adult life, Charles will be remembered as a great provider to his family, leaving behind an exceptional work ethic, and willingness to always help others no matter what. He loved to tinker around and build things. His career consisted of working for Jays Potato Chip Company, Verson All Steel Press Co. and he retired after many years from the Ford Motor Company as a Maintenance Welder. Charles was an avid Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinal fan. His presence will be missed by those he was able to spend time with.
Charles leaves behind his wonderful wife of many years, Elizabeth (Climer) Taylor; five children: Charles (Adrienne) Taylor, Ron (Bonnie) Taylor, Don (Laura) Taylor, Lori (Phil) Rupp; daughter-in-law, Debbie Taylor; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He is welcomed into eternity by his parents, Galen and Lola Taylor; son, Tim Taylor; two brothers, and six sisters.
All services are being held privately per the family's wishes.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ChapelLawnFunerals.com for the Taylor family.
