Chrissy was born March 24, 1982, in Hammond, Indiana to the late Charles Neer, and Myretta (Ordway) Neer who survives.
Also surviving are her children, Briana Ballard, Jayden Ballard, and Jasmine Ballard, along with their father and her long- time companion, Jason Ballard; siblings, Julie (Wayne) Dugan, Tom (Candace) Bainbridge, and Amanda (Matt) Toepper; seven nieces and nephews.
She was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. Chrissy loved music, she sang and danced her way through life. Her caring and free spirit will always be remembered.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 1-3 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, Indiana 46375). Funeral services will follow at 3 pm. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be given towards the family C/O Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens
