Christine Strayer

Christine is the loving wife to the late David Strayer; proud mother to Jesse (Johnna) Hunt, Buddy (Kayla) Hunt, and Jacob Hunt; adoring grandmother to Jacoby Hunt, Olivia Hunt, Grayson Hunt, Easton Hunt and Raegan Hunt; affectionate sister to Bill (Debbie) Schmid, Kathy (Tony) Procaccio, Tom (Bonnie) Mickles, and Susan (Fernando Carrasco) Mickles; aunt to Toni, Tori, Mark, Noelle, Marissa, Tommy, Mike, Dani and Brandon; great-aunt to many.

Christine was the owner and operator of the Villa Tanning Salon in Crown Point. She and her husband, David, enjoyed time together while camping on the Tippecanoe River and shopping. Christine was a loving and caring sister, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Dear Friends and Family,

Please join us as we gather to honor and celebrate Christine's life. The Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. The day will begin with a condolence hour at 10:00 AM, followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.

Your presence and support during this time would mean a great deal to us as we come together to remember Christine and cherish the memories we shared with her.

Gravesite services will be held at a later date at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
