Daniel Lee Kuipers

DANIEL LEE KUIPERS, 57, son of Donald and Dorothy Kuipers, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 21st with his loving wife by his side after a long struggle with Early Onset Alzheimer’s. Daniel was an accomplished accountant and businessman. In life, his focus and drive was admirable and awe-inspiring. Along with two Master’s degrees and a 27-year accounting career, Daniel was also a highly successful youth sports coach, contributing member of the NWISL, and entrepreneur. He was ultimately happiest when he made the people he loved around him happy. He is remembered for his big laugh, wonderful sense of humor and as a loving and dedicated husband, father and son. He leaves behind his devoted wife Kim and sons Tommy, Paul and Dannie as well as his grandchildren Violet Nguyen and the new little prince Henry Daniel. He also leaves behind his strong, loving, and determined sisters Donielle Luttell and Denise Kuipers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28th, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens (8178 South Cline Ave, Schererville, IN, 46375). Visitation will be Friday, November 27th 2015 from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, the bereaved request monetary and/or voluntary donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, and/or your local Hospice or Homecare facility/company.
