Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Randy Kudlo; her mother, Donna Brum; daughter, Nikki DeLaCruz; sister, Sheri (Tony) Sudar; grandchildren, Rylind, Jack, Caden, Liam, and Harper; uncle, Ronald Trigg; and beloved family member, Alex Golab. She will also be missed by her cherished dog, Raven, and many friends who were dear to her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Brum; her grandparents, Donald and Helen Trigg; and her stepfather, Jack Wright.
Debbie attended T.F. South High School and went on to have a successful career as an office manager for State Farm for over 20 years.
Debbie had many interests and passions. She enjoyed solving puzzles on *Wheel of Fortune,* listening to Fleetwood Mac, The Judds, and Jimmy Buffett, and attending live concerts. She loved word finds, spending time with her family, and creating memories with her beloved dog. Traveling, especially to Saugatuck, MI, brought her joy, as did collecting Precious Moments figurines and snowmen. She also was a dedicated NASCAR and Chicago Bears fan.
A proud breast cancer survivor, she faced life's challenges with strength and grace. She was always a fighter—both in spirit and in her medical battles. Her fiery personality and unyielding tenacity were evident throughout her journey. Over the past 18 months, she endured intubation at least seven or eight times, defying the odds repeatedly. Even when doctors had little hope and began discussing hospice care, she fought back and proved them wrong time and again.
Her resilience was nothing short of remarkable. She faced daunting challenges head-on, including six months of chemotherapy, five days a week, with less than a 50% chance of survival. Despite it all, she never gave up. She was a true spitfire—strong, feisty, and absolutely relentless.
