Dolores Catherine Stark Imes

Dolores was born June 5, 1929 to the late Andrew M. and Irene M. (Augsten) Stark. In 1950, she married her husband Edmund of 54 years, he also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Debi (Bill) Moore, Judy (the late Gary) Zar, Robert (Lisa) Imes, Jeffrey Imes, Sally (Michael) Loesch, grandchildren, Aaron (Jennifer) Rataczak, Daniel (Elisa) Rataczak, Christopher Rataczak, Daniel Zar, Carl Scott, Cody Imes, Samantha Kupsik, Hannah Hill, Andrew Imes, Peyton Loesch, Noah Loesch, great grandchildren, Dominic and Tyler. Also surviving are her sisters Gerry (George) Kouris, Rosie (the late Howard) Jack and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church of Highland, and a member of the Phi Epson Kappa Sorority. She was an avid Bridge player and played Texas Hold-Em with her friends for many years. Dolores was a loving and devoted Mom, and a caretaker to many generations of her family. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 24, 2014 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (3125 Highway Ave; Highland, IN 46322) with Father Edward J. Moszur officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 3-7 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave; Schererville, IN 46375). Memorial Contributions may be given towards, Mercy Home for Boys and Girls; 1140 W. Jackson Blvd.; Chicago, IL 60607, or towards Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, or towards St. Jude Children’s Hospital 4619 North Ravenswood Ave.; Chicago, Illinois 60640.
