Mrs. Staes was born September 12, 1930 in Antwerp, Belgium to the late Frank and Louisa Horemans. She is preceded in death by her husband for over 50 years Joseph Staes. Also preceding in death are her brothers John and Emil Horemans, great granddaughter Dakota, and her Aunt Maria and Uncle Emil. Survivors are her son Christian; granddaughters Alisha and Christa; great grandchildren Alina, Drake, Maddox; and close friends Georgianne and Lonnie.
