Eva Bernice Davis

Bernice was born August 22, 1927, in Fletcher, North Carolina to the late William Virgil and Eva Viola (Painter) Greene. In 1947 she married her husband Maxwell Davis, he preceded in death in 1972.

Survivors include her children, Suelene Harrell, Robert (Ewa Juszczak) Davis, Don Davis and Glenn (Robin) Davis. Grandchildren include Rachel (Anthony), Adam (Christeen), Kent, Amy, Megan, Tara, and Tracy, also great grandchildren, Brianna, Desiree, and Savannah, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Raleigh, Howard, Hoyle, and Elmer Greene, and a sister, Novella Hannah, and her loving pet Max.

Mrs. Davis worked for eighteen years at Methodist Hospital Southlake Campus in the dietary department. She courageously raised her children individually after her husband’s early passing, emulating a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. The family wishes to extend a warm gratitude towards Chicagoland Christian Village, Haven Unit.

Private family services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home with burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
