Frances Clementine Daniels was born on November 06, 1934 in Elk Park, NC to the late Enoch and Emma Potter. She was one of eight children, the hardest worker of them all! 😉 She married her husband, Bob Allen Daniels, and they were blessed with three handsome (some say ornery) sons, Rick (Anna), Mike (Nicole), and Bucky (Susan).
Frances was blessed to be a housewife and stay-at-home mom to her boys. She was very involved with the Hessville Little League, serving as team mom for the baseball teams her husband coached, ensuring all the kids got to their practices and games on time. She also enjoyed working in the concession stand and loved seeing everyone from the neighborhood there.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Allen Daniels; her son, Bucky Daniels; her grandson, Jack Daniels; her brothers, Jay Potter, Bill Potter, and Millard Potter; and her sisters, Shirley and Louise.
Frances absolutely adored being "Nanny" to her 12 grandchildren, Jodi Daniels, Jack Daniels, Matthew Daniels, Josh (Alex) Willis, Dominic (Stephanie) Willis, Daine Willis, Michael Daniels, Shaina Daniels, Kymberli (Colin) Roberts, Bo (Lauren) Daniels, Brock Daniels, Ben Daniels; and her 13 great-grandchildren, Addyson Daniels, Cameron Daniels, Drake Daniels, Hunter Daniels, Norah Daniels, Phoenix Willis, Everley Willis, Harper Roberts, Auston Roberts, Blake Roberts, Audrey Bielecki, Brayden Daniels, and Adalynn Daniels. Frances is also survived by her sister, Marcella Jones; and brother, Charles Potter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frances also had extended family way north of the border in Canada!
She loved them all deeply, and they were the apple of her eye!!!
Frances was a godly woman who cherished her Sunday school class and served her Lord and Savior in many ways, including preparing communion and helping in the nursery. She always had a joyful heart and a beautiful smile on her face. She enjoyed playing cards with her husband and friends, as well as being part of the Women's Dartball Team with her girlfriends, representing Cline Gardens Christian Church in Hammond, IN.
She loved being surrounded by her family, reading the Bible every evening, and praying for all of her loved ones.
Frances loved everyone and was loved by all who knew her. She was a true lady in every way!
