

Frank J. Dubczak, age 60, of Crown Point, found peace Tuesday, September 4, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. A noble man of great strength and dignity, Frank was a friend to all who knew him. He was known for his natural ability as a mechanic and carpenter, and was a true "Mr. Fix It". Frank was employed for many years with Ruan Leasing Corporation and Penske Truck Rental. His kind nature and generosity touched many lives and he will be truly missed by all. Frank's love for his family surpassed all else. He fought so hard and showed tremendous strength, repeatedly proving the doctors wrong until the Lord called him home. Frank was a loving and devoted father to Megan (Mark) Tilton and Sara Dubczak, and the proud Grandpa-to-be of Baby Boy Tilton. Frank also leaves behind his devoted fiancee, Raean Human; and five loving sisters: Jane (Bob) Stotland, Barbara Deeb, Patty (Jim) Secviar, Nancy Dubczak, and Julie (Chuck) Secviar; proud uncle of many nieces and nephews; fond son-in-law of Mitchell and Wanda Baran. Preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Margaret Dubczak; and his beloved wife, Renee (nee Baran). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Michael's Catholic Church (1 W. Wilhelm Street, Schererville, IN) with Reverend Martin Dobrzynski officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue Schererville, IN Memorial donations in memory of Frank Dubczak may be made to the Light the Night Walk that his family is participating in on September 23rd.
