

JACKIE (JACK) R. WINKLER, Anderson, SC, passed away after a short illness on June 29, 2015, with his wife, Rose Mary, by his side. Survivors are wife, Rose Mary Winkler of 60 years of marriage; children: daughter, Jacquelyn Winkler Stiscak, Bradenton, FL; son: James Winkler, Tampa, FL; five grandchildren: Dr. Nick (Ashlee) Winkler, Greenville, SC; Ashley (Mikey) Bajorek, Dyer, IN; Zach Stiscak, Bradenton, FL, Elicia Winkler and Kali Winkler, Hobart, IN; one great granddaughter, Addison Bajorek, Dyer, IN; brothers: Dan (Debbie) Winkler, Vincennes, IN, David Winkler, Richmond, IN; sisters: Sue (Roger) Randall, Rockville, IN, Rita (Mike) Holm, Highland, IN, Judie (Dave) Myers, Hammond, IN; brothers-in -law: Kenneth, Dan, Dave, Don Valandingham; sisters-in-law: Barbara Wontorski, Audrey Zibulski; many loving nephews and nieces and great nephews and great nieces. Preceded in death by children: Jerome and Joan Winkler, parents: Carlos and Catherine Winkler; brothers: Don, Fred and Eddie Winkler; and sister, Betty Hussey; parents-in-law: Rube and Vera Valandingham; brothers-in-law: Robert and Charles Valandingham, sister- in-law, Marcella Valanding- ham. A resident of Hammond, IN until retirement from Screw Conveyor, Hammond, IN, as Superintendent in 1998, moved to Kingman, IN in 1999. Mr. Winkler loved spending time with all of his family at Lake Holiday for many years in Kingman, IN. A devout Christian, Mr. Winkler was a member of South Side Christian Church, Munster where he served as a Deacon for years and Sterling Christian Church, Veedersburg, IN. Mr. Winkler was a 49 year member of Fountain Masonic Lodge #60, Covington, IN, A.A.S.R. Northern Masonic, Valley of Terre Haute, IN, Zorah Shriner, Terre Haute, IN, and Eastern Star of West Lebanon Chapter #162, Shriner's Club in Sun City Center, FL. Visitation will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, Schererville, IN, on Wed, July 8, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. noon, with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service by Gary Johnson, Minister of Sterling Christian Church, at 12:00 p.m. noon, followed by interment at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
