Jean was the loving wife of 53 years to Richard "Dick" Leeson; mother to Nancy "Nan" (Bob) Huitsing and Kathy "Kay" (Don) Leeson-Reiland; loving grandmother to Michael (Lois) Huitsing, Kristine "KiKi" Gleason, and Marci (Gary Tomanich) Czaja; great-grandmother to Lauren, Katelyn, and Kyle; and cherished sister to the late Kenneth Richcreek and the late Barbara Richcreek.
Jean was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed decorating and caring for her home and garden. She enjoyed scrapbooking and organizing photo albums and newspaper clippings.
Visitation will be Monday, June 2, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of her funeral at 12:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
