Jean Elizabeth DeLow Voss

Jean E. Voss, age 83, of Lowell, IN passed away peacefully on March 12, 2015, at her residence with her loving family at her side. Jean was born April 12, 1931, in Corpus Christi Texas to the late Ethel (Quinn) DeLow. Also preceding her in death is her grandson Eric Voss. On September 22, 1951 she married her husband of 64 years, Clarence Voss, who survives. Also surviving are her children: Robert (Debbie) Voss, Susan (Dave) Blastick, Karol (Daniel) Kanelopoulos, Gayle (Patrick) O'Leary, and James (Laura) Voss; grandchildren: David and Jeremy Blastick, Daniel, Timothy (Valerie), and Joseph Kanelopoulos, Brian (Amanda Yniguez) and Kathleen O'Leary, Jacob, Luke, Abigail, and James Voss; great grandchildren: Emily Blastick, Danny and Timmy Kanelopoulos; sister, Jane (Rob) Ide; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Voss was a friend of Bill W. for over 32 years. She was a supportive friend and role model to many. Jean was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 South Cline Ave.; Schererville, IN 46375) at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Monday, March 16, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
