Julie B. Faucett, age 77, of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2017 at her home, as she was held and surrounded by her loving family. Mom is the epitome of what womanhood and motherhood stands for as her love and compassion for life is unmatched. Julie was born September 23, 1939, in Menominee, Michigan to the late James and Nathalie Peters. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Peters. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 59 years, Warren Faucett, Daughter, Kelly (Randy) Keilman; son, Scott (Arely) Faucett; sisters, Joy and Lori; brother Robert,; grandchildren, Nathalie, Derek, Victoria, and Phillip. Julie was a loving and devoted wife, homemaker and Momma (Meme). Later in her life she worked for St. Maria Goretti of Dyer, Indiana. Julie loved her family and home, especially her rose garden. Visitation will be Monday, January 30, 2017 from 9:00 am until time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, Indiana 46375). Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Calumet (600 Superior Ave.; Munster, IN 46321)
