Leonard M. Benac age 83of Hobart, IN formerly of Glen Park, IN passed away November 23, 2013. He is survived by two daughters: Karen A. Benac, Lauren (Dave ) Thomas; son, George Benac; two grandchildren: Nick and Natalie Thomas; two brothers: Richard and Bill Benac; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two brothers: Matt and Robert; and two sisters: Marge and Gen. Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 27, 2013, 10:30 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 8178 Cline AV (1/2 mile south of US 30) Schererville, IN, Deacon Brain Nosbusch officiating. Burial Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Leonard was a loving father and grandfather. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Alzheimer's Association .
