Lisa Ann Rees

She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, David C. Rees; beloved children: David (Kristi) Rees, Zachary Rees and Maxwell Rees; cherished granddaughter, Layla Violet Rees; siblings: Carol Winebrenner, Kathy (Bob) Metzger ,Lee (Winnie Keane) Garton, and Barry (Debbie Dorsey) Garton ; sisters-in-law: Rebecca (Dave) Rees-Miller and Nora Huspek; brothers-in-law: Tom (Dawn) Rees and Matthew (Tracy) Rees and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Proceeded in death by her parents: LeRoy and Georgia Garton and sister, Donna Dykes.

Lisa was a very giving person who dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed vacationing in California, photography, and her dear dog, Digger.

She touched many lives in her short time with us and was a loyal and dedicated friend to many people. Lisa will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister-in-law and friend. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013, 7:00 p.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave Schererville, IN) Private interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to visit on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Donations in Lisa’s memory may be made to Hospice of The Calumet Area (www.hospicecalumet.org).
