Lola Mae Miller

Lola Mae Miller age 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 with her loving husband of 57 years by her side. She is survived by her husband, George A. Miller Sr.; son, George (Lisa) Miller Jr.; daughter, Katherine Miller; grandchildren, Billy (Brooke) Miller, David (Carolyn) Miller, Brandon Miller, Tyler Miller, Aaron Miller, Ana (Robert) Ruiz, Charles Wisniewski, Jessica Wisniewski, Anthony (Nena) Wisniewski, Stacy (Scott) Hesse, Jason (Tanya) Pope and Stephanie Pope; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Gladys Clark; daughters in law, Linda Miller and Dixie Miller; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie and Ellen Whitehead; sons, Billy Ray Miller and Jimmy

Luell Miller; great grandson, Aiden Miller; sister, Thelma Jane Stricklin and brother, Jimmy Ray Whitehead. Lola was born on September 6, 1938 in Gilbertsville, KY. On April 6, 1960 she married the love of her life, George A. Miller and together they raised 4 children. Her greatest accomplishment and passion was her children, grandchildren and her gardens. Lola was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point. IN) with Pastor James Williams officiating.
