Margaret Cruz

Margaret Cruz is the loving wife to the late Gonzalo Cruz. Beloved mother to Andrew (Donna) Cruz, Robert (Denise) Cruz, Elizabeth (Glenn) Harakal, Daniel Cruz, Linda (Ken) Kruhaj; proud grandmother to Daniel Smitka, Corey Polovina, David Shindle, Mathew Cruz, Miles Cruz, Tyler and Dylan Harakal, Maggie Kruhaj and 10 great grandchildren and one arriving soon! Mom loved all dearly and enjoyed each one of us uniquely. Margaret was born and raised in a small close knit town in New Mexico, leaving behind many family and friends. In particular, she leaves behind a very close and dear sister, Erlinda, whom she loved deeply since birth. Mom's passion was drawing and was pretty good without training. She drew portraits, flowers, cabins, whatever came to mind, and granted specific requests beautifully. She continued to draw leading up to her final days. Everyone felt comfortable around mom because of her warm personality and humor, and a favorite aunt of many. She really was very funny and had us in stitches many times, giving us many stories to reminisce and laugh about for decades to come. We love you so very very much Mom. We will miss everything about you. Enjoy your new and forever home!
