Spike was born September 18, 2020 in London, Kentucky to Hartford and Rose Sasser (née Philpot). He was predeceased by parents, wife Alice in 1998 and all eight siblings.
Spike is survived by nieces and nephews.
After high school, Spike traveled to NW Indiana during World War II seeking employment which resulted in a 42 year career as a Pipefitter with Union Local 597. Spike was a proud member of McKinley Lodge 712, South Bend Scottish Rite and Orak Shrine. During his retirement years, Spike especially enjoyed being with his friends at the weekly Thursday Lunch where a great time was had by all.
Due to the current conditions of Covid-19, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of Spike’s life will be announced at a later date.
