Patricia Ann Tozer-Hunter

Patricia Ann Tozer-Hunter, age 64, of Hammond, IN passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey L. Hunter; her sister, Dale (Greg) Barnes; brother-in-law, Bob Stevens; dear aunt, Phyllis (late Andrew) Yanas; nephews, Robert Stevens and David Barnes; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended members of the family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister, Rose Stevens.

Patty was born was born October 17, 1957 in East Chicago, IN to the late John and Evalena Tozer, and was a 1977 graduate of Gavit High School. She went on to achieve her BA from Purdue Calumet. On April 19, 2003, she married the love of her life, Jeff, and together they shared 19 years. Patty enjoyed watching television, especially General Hospital, and playing the roulette games at the Blue Chip casino in Michigan City, IN.

Patty was loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt and friend and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN.

Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN.
