Phyllis J. Wilson Lea

PHYLLIS JEAN LEA HIGHLAND, IN Phyllis Jean Lea, age 76 of Highland, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010. She married Raymond Lea Sr. on June 5, 1955 and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2002. They were married for 47 years. Phyllis is survived by her loving son, Raymond (Vanessa) Lea of Cedar Lake; loving granddaughter, Skyler Lea of Cedar Lake; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Barbara) Hjertquist; nephews: Robert (Lisa) Hjertquist, Daniel Lea, Dennis Hjertquist, Phillip Baldwin, Jerry Baldwin, and David Baldwin; nieces: Joyce Kuhn, Debbie Miller and Paula Dorschel; many great nieces and great nephews. She also leaves to mourn, a beloved friend, Therese Bathurst. Phyllis loved spending time with her family, especially her only son, Raymond and granddaughter, Skyler. Phyllis will be loved and missed by all. There will be a visitation at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Doug Klukken officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions in Phyllis' memory to the American Cancer Society .
