Robert is survived by his three nieces, Joanna (Timothy) Zahn, Michele Shockley, and Jennifer (Michael) Morrill; great-niece, Jessica Morrill; great-nephew, Daniel Newcom and his fiance, Lexi Seay; great-great nephew, Evan Newcom; and great-great niece, Addilyn Newcom.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Jones; sister, Judy A. Shockley; and great-nephew, Tyler J. Newcom.
Rob worked at UPS and always enjoyed having a good time. He was very proud of his time served in the United States Army. During his time from 1967 to 1973, he was deployed to Vietnam. His family will remember his courage and love for his country.
