William J. Cissell

WILLIAM J. CISSELL LAKE STATION, IN William J. Cissell, age 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. He is survived by his loving children: Cynthia (Tony) Call, Pamela (Jerry) Hobson, Linda (Jim) Howell and Anthony Cissell; grandchildren: Tony Call, Kamron Bass, Michell Howell, Stephanie Call, Thomas Howell, Joseph Howell, Ashley Cissell, Andrew Cissell, Rachel Sterkowicz and Christa Sterkowicz; forever daughter- in-law, Kelly Hitchcock; forever daughter, Mary (Tom) Sterkowicz; forever son, John Tague; dear former wives: Patricia and Bonnie. Also survived by Larry Stewart and many others whose lives he touched in such a profound way. Preceded in death by his parents: William and Mary Cissell; and dear son, Robert C. Cissell. William proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a proud NRA member and a talented wood craftsmen who had an incredible sense of humor. He will be remembered as a loving and doting father and grandfather who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave, Schererville, IN) father Theodore Menns officiating. Inurnment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to visit the family on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Local 697 IBEW JATC, as William proudly taught there for years.
