

Bill Denny has attained his heavenly reward of life everlasting. Bill was born in Jacksboro and grew up in Graham, Texas. He was the younger son of Ross and Iris Campbell Denny, who proceeded him in death, as did his brother Glenn. He entered the University of Texas in 1947, and was a member of the Longhorn Band for four years. He graduated in 1951 with a degree in Business Administration.
In 1952 Bill joined the Air Force and his four years as a Fighter Pilot in the 317th Squadron helped define the rest of his long and happy life. He delighted in flying his various airplanes for many years.
Bill was the owner of Denny Business Forms for 48 years and in retirement was involved in real estate.
Survivors of this good and honorable man are his wife, Beverly Fife Denny, daughters Beverly Polan, Janna Hardwicke and husband Bruce, Lynan Formby and Anne Denny Alaimo and husband Kevin. He delighted in grandchildren Shawn Polan, Bevan Polan, Christian Foree, Rebecca Foree, Jake Formby and Evan Alaimo, and great-grandchildren Brock and Abby Polan. Also, three nephews – Steve, Phil and Mark Denny and cousins Ed Waynick, Iris Gail Hatfield, Roberta Campbell and Robert Crawford.
The lessons he taught us by example will always honor his name.
Burial Services are at DFW National Cemetery. A memorial service will be at Parkway Hills Baptist Church, 2700 Dallas Parkway, Plano, at 3:30 Monday, November 23, 2015. Visitation will be at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 George Bush Tollway, Dallas, on Sunday, November 22, from 6-8 pm.
Memorial donations may be made to Parkway Hills Baptist Church Mission Ministries, in memory of Bill Denny.
