Bipinkumar Shantilal Desai

Our beloved father Mr. Bipinkumar Shantilal Desai was born in Gujarat, India to Shantilal bhai and Pushpaben Desai in a Hindu Vaishnav family on July 04, 1950. He passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on January 29, 2025. Our father Bipin bhai spent most of his young years helping his mama with his business, where he gained a lot of his business knowledge and lessons. This later inspired him to start his own grocery shop with his brother Nilesh bhai in Jhalod, India. In 1982, he was married to Maya ben. He then immigrated to Chicago, US with his wife and two sons, Shaishav and Love, in the late 1990’s. As an immigrant in the US, he worked diligently on various jobs to support and provide for his family. He loved to watch Hindu religious content, older bollywood movies and listen to classic hindi songs. Our father indulged himself in Indian cuisine and had a sweet tooth for the ages. After retirement, his favorite past time was spending time with family, going to the temple, visiting his sisters and streaming Youtube.

Bipin bhai’s surviving relatives include: his wife Maya ben Desai, eldest son Shaishav B Desai, daughter-in-law, Kinnari, and granddaughter’s, Yashi and Isha; his younger son, Love B. Desai, daughter-in-law Drashti; his younger sisters, Surekha ben & Mayuri ben; and younger brother, Nilesh bhai
