Camille’s family celebrates her life not in sadness but with joy, remembering all that she shared with so many of us. She enjoyed the simplest of pleasures from reading a good book, to her love of cooking and music, in particular the power of a great voice. She loved fine art and architecture and the aesthetics of a well-designed room. She had a deep appreciation for the metaphysical, and loved all things visually striking and beautiful. She imparted these traits in her four children and taught them to truly appreciate the beauty in life. An avid art enthusiast her zest for life will be remembered with love long after her passing.
Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years James P. Sharpe, Camille is survived by her children and their spouses, David Sharpe and wife Claudia, Karen Sharpe-Smith and husband Carl, Dale Sharpe and partner Dorjette Kendall, Kathleen Sharpe-Drasin and husband Ben Drasin. Grandchildren Hannah, Hailey, Duende and Clio.
Please join us in remembering Camille with joy and appreciation for all that she taught us. A private family ceremony will be held in August. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Modern Museum of Art, Fort Worth https://www.themodern.org/donate or Dallas Museum of Art https://support.dma.org/.
