

Carole Louise Haas, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Silverado Senior Living in Plano, TX. She was born in McVille, ND to Thelma and Ole Braaten. Carole married Roger A. Haas on July 8, 1954. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She also held several jobs as a bookkeeper, her true passion was taking care of her husband and family, which she truly enjoyed. Carole was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed square dancing and riding motorcylces with her husband over the years as well as being an avid Nascar fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger A. Haas on August 26, 2000. Carole is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and George Inmon of Terrell, TX; sons and daughter-in-laws, Rodney and Kelly Haas of Midlothian, TX and Randy and Simone Haas of Mabank, TX; eight grandchildren, Denise (Duke) Zinser, Lesley Lawson, Amanda (Cesar) Barron, Brandi Haas, Heather Haas, Little Roger (Tina) Haas, Rylan Haas and Cheyenne Haas; six great-grandchildren, Skyler, Greenleigh, Lily Grace, Emily, Monica and Mallory; two brothers, Orville Braaten and Karsten (Nancy) Braaten; two sisters, Donna McCloud and Susan Eidoen; and several nieces and nephews, brothers and sister-in-laws. Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2011 in Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, with a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8th St., 7th Floor, New York City, NY 10001.
