Cindy Marie Hall

Age 55, passed away on April 15, 2013 in Grapevine, Texas. Born October 3, 1957 in Denver, Colorado to James and Lois (Roach) Metz. Cindy is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robert Hall; son, Todd Andrew Hall and Katie of Carrollton, Texas; daughter, Sarah Marie Hall of Dallas, Texas; sister, Marilyn Metz and Phil of Seattle, Washington; brother, Rick Metz and Penny of Denver, Colorado; brother, Mike Metz of Golden, Colorado; brother, Donny Metz and wife Traci of Arvada, Colorado and sister, Linda Gibbons of Arvada, Colorado; loving pet, Libby Lou and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Cindy was born and raised in Arvada, Colorado and graduated from Arvada West High School. She met her future husband Robert on July 21, 1978 and they were married in June of 1979. The couple and their growing family later moved to Atlanta, Dallas, Seattle and then back to Dallas. Cindy enjoyed many things including shopping. She was lovingly nicknamed the "Queen of Bling" and her personality equally sparkled. Cindy also loved animals and dachshunds especially held a place in her heart. More than anything, Cindy valued the moments spent with her family and her role as a mother was most treasured. She was loved by all that knew her and her loss will be felt by so many. Visitation will take place on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 5- 7:30 pm at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 11 am at St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas. In lieu of the flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to ASPCA via www.aspca.org/donate or the Humane Society via http://www.humanesociety.org/donate/. The family is also requesting no black attire at the services but rather bright bold beautiful colors be worn in Cindy's memory.
