David Steven Goodstein was born on February 10, 1937 in Trenton, New Jersey to Bernard and Bertha Goodstein and passed away on May 2, 2014. Dave, as he was fondly known as, was stationed at the US Army Garrison in Grafenwoehr, Germany in 1959, when he married his wife of 52 years, Ancelle Wirth. Together, they owned their own apparel store in New York. David and his family lived in New York for 40 years and then moved to Florida before finally settling in Texas in 1994. After Ancelle passed in 2011, David shared his life with his companion and friend, Gwen Mitchell. David was the proud parent of three children, Ron, Darin, and Jamie. He also had three grandchildren, Milad, Saad, and Dane Andrew. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 10:30am at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home with a visitation held 30 minutes prior.
