

David Lynn Wagoner, aged 83, passed away on November 30, 2025, in Dallas, TX. Born on March 15, 1942, David was a figure of intelligence and warmth, cherished by all who knew him. His life was marked by his roles as a loving husband, a great father, and a well-traveled individual who drew people from all walks of life towards him with his charismatic presence.
David's professional life was dedicated to the field of commercial real estate development. His expertise was recognized widely, leading to his selection as part of a delegation of businessmen to Russia, where he imparted his knowledge on real estate development.
His personal interests were diverse, including traveling, reading, golf, and fishing, each of which he pursued with passion.
David is survived by the love his life of 56 years, Alice Wagoner; sons, David Jr. (Sandra), James, and Richard (Eva); grandchildren, Chad, Joshua, William, Trey, Justin, Preston, Jennifer, Chase, Brittany, and Byron; and 22 great-grandchildren; and half-siblings, Linda Manny, John Littrell, and Debbie Dodson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Hal Wagoner and Frankie Mae O'Kelly-Littrell; brother, Wayne; sister, Pat; and half-sister, Becky.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in David's memory. David's legacy of kindness, respect, and community involvement leaves an indelible mark on all who knew him.
A visitation will be held at Ted Dickey Funeral Home, located at 2128 18th Street, Plano, Texas, 75074, on December 7, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same location on December 8, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am. The committal will occur immediately following the service at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
