

He was born in McCune, Kansas to Earl and Helen Morrison on October 4, 1926. Don was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings, Orville Morrison, Conard Morrison, Nadine Sharp, Ruth Rupard, Juanita Hinshaw, and Wallace Morrison. He is survived by his niece Rebecca Cullison and her husband Lloyd from Rockwall, Texas
After graduating from McCune High School Don attended Pittsburg State College in Kansas and received his bachelors degree in chemistry. Don then served in the Army Air Force and, in 1949, accepted employment with Best Foods Corporation in Dallas, Texas as a chemist. Years later he became the Dallas plant manager for Best Foods and then eventually moved to Little Rock, Arkansas to plan and open an innovative plant design located there.
Don took early retirement from Best Foods in 1982 and enjoyed a wonderful time traveling around the world. He saw much of it, including Europe, Canada, the Caribbean and Southeast Asia. He loved gardening, watching westerns, walking the neighborhoods and spending time with his beloved friends. Don was always cheerful and maintained a genuine love for life.
