Donald E. Russell (“Don”) born on May 26, 1932 went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2011. Don was born in Monroe, Louisiana, grew up in Strong, Arkansas and graduated from Louisiana Tech with and Electrical Engineering degree. Don worked for NASA and then for 30 years at Texas Instruments. Services will be held at The Heights (Baptist Church) in Richardson, Texas at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 with the burial following at The National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Don is survived by his wife of 56 years, Arlene; Renee and Paul Light, grandsons Jeremy and Will; and Don and Melanie Russell, grandchildren Lauren, Ryan and Abigail.
