Hollis was home schooled, and later attended public school in Plano. He graduated from Plano Senior High School in 2011 and was attending Phoenix University online, where he was studying Psychology.
Hollis loved playing video games and interactive role playing games.
Hollis is survived by his parents, Elton and Leslie Smith, his sister Veronica Smith, and his brother Nathaniel Smith.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 22 at Ted Dickey West funeral home.
