Jerry L. Brantley, born May 29th, 1943, Amherst, Texas, to Savannah & JP Brantley, died Thursday, March 26, 2026. Survivors include Carol Ann (wife of 61 years); sister, Joanie and brother in law, Mike Stafford; Godchildren, Jennifer Cunningham & Rob Murray & families, & his precious dog, Trixie.
Jerry was a graduate of Littlefield High School in Littlefield, Texas & Texas Tech University with a Bachelor in Architecture. He married Carol Ann Watkins on March 26, 1965 in Sudan, Texas. He practiced architecture in Lubbock, Dallas, Amarillo, Houston, & Plano, Texas. He & Carol Ann also lived in Addison, Texas with a second home in Taos, New Mexico & retiring in Plano, Texas. He enjoyed gardening, oil, pastel, & watercolor painting, voracious reading, exercising, cooking, playing with Trixie & traveling. He & Carol Ann were members of First Christian Church in Plano, Texas. Services will be at Lakeside Cremation Garden II, Sparkman-Hillcrest, W.N.W Highway in Dallas, Texas on April 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.
