Joseph William Gregory

Joe was born on May 13, 1949 in Pottsville, PA to Robert and Eleanor Gregory. Joe attended Minersville Area High School where he played football and was active with his local Boy Scout troop. He attended Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Joe was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus and held the honor of being a 4th degree Knight. Joe was an employee of Hibernia National Bank and Capital One for over 20 years.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Eleanor, and a son, Geoffrey Robert Gregory.

Joe is survived by Mary F. Gregory, his beloved wife of 35 years, a daughter, Catherine Marie Buffa of Covington, LA, his son Paul Lewis Gregory of Kiln, MS and his son Michael Joseph Gregory of Plano, TX.

A rosary and memorial service will be held on October 5th, 2013 at 10am at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home in Plano, TX. Interment will be in the near future in New Orleans following a memorial service over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
