Sue--I was so sorry to hear the the news of Ken's passing.  When I think of Ken I recall very fond memories of us working together in Nashville...way back in the late 70's!  Ken  always had a positive attitude when the chips were down and his big smile was so infectious.  I have been thinking of him alot and please know you and the girls will be in my thoughts and payers as well.  The photo gallery is great and made me smile alot!!  I will miss him...

Sue and Family, We just learned from Don and Lisa Waugaman of Ken's passing and wanted to extend out deepest sympathy. I will always remember the great times with Ken on our golf outings and the many hearty laughs we had together ! He will be deeply missed by all.

Sue, words can not describe our shock and sorrow hearing about Ken's passing. He was not only a business associate for last 22 years but a very dear personal friend. He delivered us our first P&P Bond when our new company was started and after we have been turned down by other agents. We have had such fun times together on several fishing and golfing trips. He was so full of life and exuberance that you could not help but to love him. He was so caring and generous to everyone he came in contact with. His love for sports and good food and wine are legendary. He always talked so fondly about you, your loving daughters, son in laws and very dear grandkids every time we met. He was a very passionate man. We miss him dearly. Hope all of you find comfort in his memory and always remember he is looking at you from above with that smile and twitch in his eye. Love you all!

We have a Ken-Harvey memory to share with you.  We met you folks back when Kylee and our daughter Julie played soccer together on the Spirit '74 team. The girls were in middle school at the time. At an out-of-town tournament, Ken was teasing the girls and we heard him say, "Let's go, Jules!"  That was the first time anyone called Julie by a nickname!  (We had tried hard to give our daughter a name that would not be nickname-able, but Ken, with his booming soccer dad voice, called out "Jules."  What a surprise! ) 
He may have been the first, but certainly not the last, to address Julie by that nickname. We've heard it many times since over the years: at Baylor, at adult coed soccer games and even now as the mother of 2 soccer players of her own. And we often think of Ken. We lost my closest business associate, lunch buddy and pal. He has always been an inspiration in so many ways. We'll all miss him so greatly.

The experiences we had together during the high school and college days of our daughters were made so much more enjoyable by his influence and companionship.

Sue, we are very sorry to hear of Ken's passing. He was such a Great Guy and had many friends who loved him. He always had a smile on his face and a wonderful attitude about life. He loved talking about you, the girls and his grandchildren. Oh, and let's not forget about Nebraska football!! We are very sorry for your loss and right up the street if you need us.

Sue, words cannot describe the loss of Ken, not only to you and your family, but to all of us who knew and cherished Ken's friendship. We worked together for many years at Safeco and later, with him as one of our best agents. At Safeco he was my boss and my mentor, as well as my good friend. I owe much of my later success to him. More importantly, he was a man of character, who always did the right thing! 

I will miss him greatly, but will never forget him or his wicked left handed hook shot during our too infrequent games of HORSE. I never could beat him at that silly basketball game!

Carla and I will look forward to seeing you on our next visit to Dallas. We will toast him with a few cocktails and reminisce about the all the good times.

Mary Sue and family;  I am so very sorry to hear of Ken's passing.  He was loved by so many and had such a great attitude and outlook.  I enjoyed our visits immensely.  His love for his family was great and he cared so much for all of you.  My prayer is that God wraps you in his arms and provides comfort to you in this difficult time.
