

Matthew was born on May 28, 1981 to Clark and Christine Griffith. He graduated from the University of San Francisco with a degree in English and was a talented writer. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He was passionate about music, the Cowboys, hockey, stray animals, and vacationing with his family. Some of his happiest memories were running free with his cousins in Nebraska.
He is survived by his mother, Christine Griffith; father and stepmother, Clark & Kim Griffith; brother, Jason Griffith; sisters, Alicia Whidden and Satori Griffith; Jennifer Griffith; six nieces and nephews, Jack, Annalise, Theodore, Amos, Ida, and Ellidy; numerous friends, and, of course, his two dogs, Hippie and Lillie.
A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home with a rosary service at 7:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2pm on Friday, December 30, 2016 at All Saints Catholic Church, Dallas.
