Scott was a wonderful man. I have just learned of his passing. I hired Scott in 2015 and he worked for me until I was reassigned 8 months later. 
Scott was extremely kind and thoughtful. Mostly a  wonderful example of Christ love. He shared his health struggles with me. Yet continued to work daily at his job. Think  many may have not looked past Scott’s exterior to see the deep kindness and love he had for mankind…. His family and children… Deepest condolences to the loss of Scott to this world… May he be at peace.

Scott, fondly known as “Tex”, was one of the most caring, loving, brilliant, supportive and forgiving men, that I’ve ever known.   His empathetic, insightful interactions with all whom he met were heartfelt and truly memorable.   It’s heart breaking to see his principled journey end early.   My thoughts and prayers are with his family, and with all those who were touched by his greatness.   He will be deeply missed.   

Tex was a wonderful friend and honorable man.  I met him in 2003, we became fast friends and life long brothers.

My husband, John and I knew only 5 years,  but we thought of him as a son! He was the most loyal and Christian man we ever met. He gave of his time and money and thought of others before himself.  We have some sweet memories of Scott with his dog, Cody who he used to bring with him everywhere.  He too was like his master, loyal and sweet. Scott left a big hole in a lot of people’s hearts and lives and I’m sure we will never forget him.  He loved Jesus and talked about him all the time.  He loved his family and was very proud of them.  

Always a gentleman and professional, Scott did his best in everything. He spoke often, and lovingly, of his family. 

Tex was one of a kind. I had the pleasure of working with Scott for many years. We became good friends. Scott was a great man, never without a kind word, or deep thought, always willing to help anyone out and a great sense of humor. Scott was everyone’s friend, and one of the best I’ve ever known. I’ll never forget when we all went to Bora Bora for work. My husband and I had the pleasure of spending a great week with Scott and Amy. He spoke of his children often and with much love. Tex you will be missed. Heaven is lucky to have you. Rest easy! 

I am shocked and deeply saddened at the loss of Scott. I had the honor and pleasure of working with him for a few years while we paved new roads in sedation and analgesia in critically ill patients. When I heard it was passing yesterday from a mutual friend I was devastated and I’m very sad for his family. He was a brilliant, brilliant man, so full of life so full of love for his fellow man. Scott became one of my best friends in this crazy industry we are in.  I was introduced to Scott back in the mid 2000s and we continued to work off and on together for years.  He helped me so much with various customers.  And my gosh his customers loved him.  Scott was so smart and had one of the biggest kindest hearts of anyone I know.  And how he loved his family, he talked about them all every time we spoke. We had just talked a couple of weeks ago.  I will miss my sweet fellow Amarilloan and dear friend.  Godspeed Scott.  The Lord just gained an amazing angel.

Scott was my dear friend and we worked together at Abbott Labs & Hospira. This pic with his pups was from July of this year and the last time we talked on the phone.  The happiness on Scott’s face in this picture I will always cherish plus the memories from our friendship.  Love you, Scotty T.
