A retired middle school English teacher who found a second calling as a travel agent, she loved her family and treated her friends like family. She was an avid Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan, just like her mother.
She was happiest sailing on river cruises around Europe, squeezing her grandbaby Caleb, enjoying fine wines and delicious beers, meeting up regularly with her many friends, and spending quality time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Randolph and Marcheta and her brother Randy. She is survived by her husband Doug; son Coleman, daughter-in-law Shelley, and beloved grandson Caleb; and stepchildren Darren and JoEllyn.
We invite you to join us at St. Andrew Methodist Church, located at 5801 W Plano Pkwy in Plano, on Tuesday, April 4th, at 3 pm for a memorial service in her honor. Reception to follow in Piro Hall.
