Valerie Lynn (Freeman) Lowe

month battle with cancer, only three short months after she lost her loving husband of

32 years, James "Rex" Lowe. She was born in Dallas, Texas, July 15, 1953 to Larry

Freeman and Patricia Gregory Freeman.

Valerie spent her childhood in Waco, Texas, where she graduated from Richfield High

School. After a move back to Dallas, Texas she entered the foam packaging industry.

As a pioneer for women in this field, Valerie founded her own successful company,

Eagle Packaging and Design, for which she continued to work during her cancer

treatment with a persevering attitude and incomparable work ethic.

Valerie leaves behind her beloved son Chris Miller of Flower Mound; step-children

Rexanne Sherrell (Lonnie) of Plano, Darla Lowe (Mike Middleton) of Belton, Russ Lowe

(Amy) of Frisco; loving mother Patricia Freeman of Plano; devoted sister Kimberly

Spiro (Phil) of Manchester, NH; brother-in-law George Lowe (Nancy) of Austin;

treasured grandchildren Ryan, Madison, Ayden, and Ashtyn Lowe, Bryan and Cody

Sherrell, Meredith Amenell (Doug), and Lance and Mitch Middleton; nieces Katie

Chaput, Courtney Peres and Caroline Spiro; nephews Todd and Kyle Pfister and

Connor Spiro; grandnieces Emma and Giselle Pfister; grandnephews Roukland Pate

and Charlie Chaput; and her adored dog, Lola.

Valerie was preceded in death by her husband James Rex Lowe; father Larry Morrow

Freeman; sister Laurel Freeman Peres; father-in-law Ray Lowe and mother-in-law

Maurine Lowe; and her cherished dog, Rue.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Texas Oncology - Plano

East for their dedicated care. Also the loving support of Valerie’s lifelong friend Peggy

Campagna; and her kind neighbors and friends.

There will not be a formal funeral service but her family and friends will gather to

celebrate her much loved life.
