

Fannie C. Beyer passed away on January 15, 2017 at the age of 103 years old. She was born in Renville, Minnesota on May 14th, 1913. She was the sixth of nine children born to Lena and Heit Jacobs. She married William Beyer in 1933and had five children on 1944. The Family moved to Delano, California and settled into a house built by William. To support her family, Fannie cleaned houses, ironed and worked in the fields. she loved to spend her time working in her garden and making raisins. She also loved traveling with family and was always waiting to play cards, and mostly winning. She was proud to be a grand marshals at Delano's 100 Birthday in 2015.
She was preceded in death by all her brothers and sisters, her husband William, one son Lewis Beyer, son-in-law Charles Mara, and one grandchild Charles Mara Jr.
She is survived by her son Lionel Beyer and wife Linda, daughter-in-law Audrey Beyer, son Dallas Beyer and wife Donna, daughter Janice Mara, and daughter Delma Buck and husband Bill, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a whole lot of friends.
The family is grateful for the many thoughts and prayers. And gives a special thank you to the care giver who to care of her over the years from Dr. Singh, Dr. Yamin and her wonderful staff, Dr. Stainer and beloved staff of Walgreens. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in her name to Hoffman Hospice.
She is probably in heaven playing cards and winning or tossing horse shoes.
