Jennie Bravo Vasquez

Jennie met and married Florentino L. Vasquez and from this union they had 8 Children. She lived in the Kern County all of her life, in Delano most of that time.

Jennie loved gardening, cooking, and entertaining friends and family. She was a farm laborer supervisor and a very active member of the United Farm Workers.

Jennie spent the last 8 years of her life serving as the President of the Resident's Counsel at Delano Skill Nursing Facility.

Jennie Bravo Vasquez passed on May 18, 2016. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Florentino L. Vasquez, sons, Robert and Eliseo Vasquez, daughter, Nellie Gonzalez, father Zenaido Munoz, mother Nellie Bravo Munoz, sister, Rachel Orozco and grandson, Damian E. Fine.

She is survived by Sons, Florentino Vasquez, Jr., of Delano, CA., Pete (Rachel) Vasquez, of Bakersfield, CA., Daughters, Diane, Anita, Sandy Vasquez, of Delano, CA., 31 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation May 31, 2016 4:00PM to 8:00PM, Rosary at 6:00PM, at Delano Mortuary Chapel, Delano CA.

Mass of Christian Burial June 1, 2016 at 9:00AM, Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Delano, CA.

Burial at North Kern District Cemetery, 627 Austin Street, Delano, CA.

Pallbearers are, Jacob Ortiz, Justin Vasquez, Bobby Lema, Herbert Ortiz, III, Eli Vasquez, II, Ruben Gonzalez, Jr., TJ Vasquez and Andrew Francisco.
