Mr. Jose Franco age 85 passed away peacefully on 08/18/2014. Mr. Jose Franco was born in Chihuahua Mexico and had resided in the Delano area for the past 24 years. Mr. Franco had been employed as a baker for 30 years,

Jose Franco is survived by his wife Lucina Franco, and his children Jose Gustavo Franco Rojo Chang, Ramona, CA., Alma Rosa Rollo, Gresham, Oregon, Benito Alfredo Franco, Eagle Point, Oregon, Angela (Franco) Kulich, Sterling, Alaska, Rodolfo Franco, Spokane Valley, Washington, Evangelina Franco Mock, Centennial, Colorado, J. Luis Franco, Santa Maria, CA. Mr. Franco also had siblings Miguel, Glendale, CA., Pin, Orange, CA., Concha, Sun Valley, Emelda, Delphina, both of Los Angeles, Ortensia, Chihuahua, Mexico, Lidovina, Denver Colorado.

Mr. Franco had 11 grandchildren, 7 great, great grandchildren and 34 nieces and nephews.

Mr. Franco was preceded in death by his sister, Manuela Franco Ruiz and brother Benito Franco.

Mr. Franco enjoyed gardening, planting trees, loved to play pool, watch his L.A. Angels. He also enjoyed watching wild animals on his large screen T.V.

Services will be held at the Delano Mortuary Chapel on Monday 08/25/2014 from 8:00 am to 11:30 am. Rosary will be held at 10:00 am, mass to follow services at 12:00 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father Rick Fierros will officiate church service.
