Margarita Cruz Kates

Margarita is survived by her son Ray Kates; her daughter Theresa Kates Lopez; and her son Tommy Cruz Kates; her sister Helen Cruz Hernandez.

Margarita was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Mendoza Kates; her mother Guadalupe Lara Cruz and her father Jesus Cruz; her sister Gloria Cruz Rosario; her sister Delores Cruz Alejandro; her brother Alfred Cruz and her brother Ralph Cruz.

Mrs Kates also leaves 14 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

A visitation for Margarita will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Delano, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215. A chapel service will occur Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215. A committal service will occur Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at North Kern Cemetery District, 627 Austin St, Delano, CA 93215.

Serving as pallbearers are Ray Thomas Kates Jr., Josue E. Lopez, Tommy D. Kates III, Ricardo Ventura, Jacob E. Perez, Rey I. Lopez, Ray Kates III and Michael Kates Lopez.
