Maria Guadalupe Giron

Maria is survived by her son Arthur Valdez; her daughter Melissa P. Garcia; her son Joe Giron; her son Richard Montemayor; her son Edward Montemayor; her daughter Michelle Kates; her son Gabino Montemayor; and her daughter Connie Giron; her sister Eleanor Castro, her brother Ray Valdez and her sister Bobbie Garcia.

Maria was preceded in death by her spouse Joe Giron; her step-son Joe Luis Giron; her father Reynaldo Valdez and her mother Jennie Valdez; her sister Angie Acosta; her grandson Lawrence Giron.

Mrs. Giron also leaves 22 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.

A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Delano, 707 Browning Rd., Delano, CA 93215. A rosary will occur Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 707 Browning Rd., Delano, CA 93215. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1015 Clinton St., Delano, CA 93215. A committal services will occur Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at North Kern Cemetery District, 627 Austin St., Delano, CA 93215.

Serving as pallbearers are Joe Giron, Edward Montemayor, Gabino Montemayor, Isaac Prado, Eric Prado, John Ray Kates, Andrew Prado, Jeremiah Kates, Arthur Valdez, Frankie Kates, Gabriel Prado, Aaron Kates, Alex Kates, Quinten Montemayor, Israel Prado, Joe Ray Giron, Urijah Prado, Frankie Kates Jr. and Thomas Martinez.
