Mr. Salvador Alvarado Diaz, 68 of Delano, California passed away on May 3, 2011. Salvador was retired from farm labor. Salvador was born on October 29, 1942 in Michoacan, Mexico. Mr. Diaz is survived by his wife, Soledad; Daughters: Alicia, Magdalena, Patricia, and Rafaela. Sons: Luis, and Salvador Jr. Mr. Diaz was preceded in death by his Father, Luis Diaz Rodriguez and his Brother, Guillermo Diaz. Services will be as follows: Rosary and Visitation will be on Monday, May 9, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at Delano Mortuary. Christian Mass: Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Delano. Final resting place will be Delano Cemetery. Presiding Clergy will be Father Javier Alvarez. Pallbearers will be: Luis Diaz, Salvador Diaz Jr., Ignacio Diaz, Alberto Diaz, Osvaldo Diaz, and Cornelio Diaz Jr.
