Veronica Marie Quintero Gonzalez, 47, was born on February 9, 1979, in Delano, California, and passed away on March 13, 2026. A wise, selfless, faithful, inspirational, motherly, kind, funny, and strong woman, Veronica will be remembered as a steady light to all who were blessed to know her. After this introduction, “Veronica” will be lovingly remembered as “Veronica.” She lived in Delano, California, where her presence and care touched countless lives.
Born and raised in Delano, Veronica grew into a true pillar of her community. Her life reflected a deep commitment to helping others—an everyday devotion that showed up in both quiet moments and the biggest challenges. She carried herself with wisdom and warmth, often knowing exactly what to say when someone needed comfort, courage, or a gentle laugh.
Veronica’s calling to care for others was beautifully reflected in her work as a nurse. She became a Licensed Vocational Nurse and graduated in 2018, later serving as an LVN SpSP Case Manager. Throughout her life, she helped and provided for her loved ones with a selfless steadiness that never sought recognition—only the wellbeing of those around her.
Veronica was devoted to her family. She is survived by her spouse, Ruben Vasquez Gonzalez Jr., her son, Nathan Rae Quintero Gonzalez, and her daughter, Ryleigh Kae Gonzalez. Her love was motherly and steadfast—uplifting, protective, and full of humor—anchoring her family through life’s storms and celebrating every joy along the way.
Faith was at the heart of Veronica’s life. A devout Catholic, she attended church every Sunday and prayed the rosary every night. She led the CPSP program and changed the lives of many, offering not only guidance and support, but genuine compassion that made people feel seen and valued. Her faithful spirit and strong heart inspired others to keep going, to keep believing, and to keep loving.
In her personal life, Veronica found joy in helping people, spending time with family and friends, and facing life’s obstacles with courage and grace. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength—of a heart full of wisdom, a spirit grounded in faith, and a life that lifted others up.
